POLYTRON is state of the art line of lubricants that has been used for several years now in many industrial, racing and military applications.
Why are POLYTRON products superior to the other products on the market?
Conventional lubricants are based upon maintaining high strength and thickness of oil film, or on introducing an EP (Extreme Pressure) protective deposit between moving mating surfaces to resist failure resulting in scoring, seizure or accelerated wear.
When observing mating friction surfaces under high magnification one can see that they are actually full of "mountains" and "valleys" . These "mountains" penetrate the oil-film between the mating friction surfaces, and collide with each other.
These collisions in the micro level translates into "friction" in the macro-level. Some of these collisions result in metal particles breaking away from the colliding "mountains". The breaking away metal particles in the micro-level are what we see as "wear" process in the macro-level.
When POLYTRON is applied, under heat and pressure generated by friction, some of its elements impregnate metallurgically the crystal structure of the metal itself at its mating friction surfaces.
As a result of the metallurgical process, a very thin layer of the original metal is converted into a new significantly harder metal that has a wear-life at least 100 times longer than the original. This newly formed layer of metal protects the original "softer" metal beneath it from any wear.
Since the protective layer is very thin, it is as flexible as a very thin sheet metal. Although during collisions the protective layer does not allow metal particles to break away, its flexibility allows the metal underneath to be pushed horizontally by the horizontal force generated by collisions.
Thus the metal on the "mountains" is "pushed" into the "valleys" flattening out the friction surface, resulting in smooth polished-like surface that has a much lower friction coefficient.
This advanced technology that allows the original rough friction surfaces to be transformed into hard, smooth polished-like surfaces is one of the main characteristics that makes POLYTRON so different from other lubricants on the market today.

1. A division of an air force of a foreign country tested POLYTRON in

2. A Military Naval Academy laboratory in a European country tested the
POLYTRON formula in various military, diesel marine engine applications.
a. A test that was conducted under normal operating conditions indicated an immediate 95% reduction in wear of diesel marine engines.
b. In a second test, water was blended into the oil that contained POLYTRON formula.
The test indicated that there was no change in performance of the
engine. Under normal conditions of operation, when water penetrates the
oil system the engine overheats and seizes. But with POLYTRON no change in the engine performance occurred.
c. A final test was conducted to determine the effect of operating an engine with no oil at all after it had been treated with POLYTRON formula. First, a diesel marine engine was operated for 30 minutes with motor oil that contained POLYTRON formula.
Then, the oil was totally drained out of the engine . The engine was
left running at 50% load for 25 minutes. Under regular circumstances,
the engine would have seized in 1-1.5 minutes, but with POLYTRON treatment; the engine continued running with no observable problems.
3. An oil company in Europe has tested POLYTRON formula
with their fleet of tanker trucks, by testing their used oil every 3000
miles for metal particles, (which is an indication of engine wear).
Before using POLYTRON they measured 300 ppm concentration of metal particles. After using POLYTRON formula they got 10-17 ppm (more than 95% reduction in wear).

DIRECTION:
In Gasoline or Diesel engines, add one 16 oz bottle of POLYTRON MTC to a standard 4 to 5 -qt crankcase, or approx. 10%
by volume to any larger crankcase during an oil change. If used for the
first time , apply it at least 200 miles before the next oil change,
then apply it again in the next oil change. If oil change intervals are
as per the car manufacturer's instructions, apply POLYTRON MTC every other oil change. In extended oil change intervals, (20,000 to 50,000 miles) add POLYTRON MTC every oil change.

In addition to a standard additive package that is used in typical synthetic motor oils, POLYTRON Synthetic Motor Oils contain POLYTRON "Metal Treatment Concentrate" (MTC), a complementary additive package, which is a break through in micro-lubrication technology. Under heat and pressure, POLYTRON MTC
additive package converts metallic friction surfaces into
wear-resisting, "smooth" surfaces resulting in much lower friction and

After
350 runs, Rocker roller (red arrow) that rides on the top of the valve
stem (yellow arrow) is polished and has no signs of wear. The Rocker
parts are totally clean.
The piston on the left was taken out of a Dragster engine after 70 runs without POLYTRON MTC.
The piston skirt has a severe scuffing (yellow
arrow). The piston on the right was taken out of
an engine after 350 runs with POLYTRON MTC. The piston has no signs of wear, is totally clean, and all the friction surfaces are polished.
A close-up of an upper end of a piston after 350 runs with MTC. Since in Dragsters it is prohibited to use any fuel conditioners, only MTC
was used. As you can see, there is carbon deposit above
the upper ring, (red arrow) but none under it and
lower. The ring surfaces are polished and clean (green
arrows). The cylinder skirt is totally clean
(blue arrow). As a result of the polishing effect of
MTC the tighter seal of the piston rings
prevented the penetration of combustion gases into the
oil system.
